Predictive factors in the treatment of Pseudo-Acanthosis Nigricans by Fractional Carbon Dioxide Laser and Glycolic Acid Peel

BACKGROUND: Acanthosis nigricans is a common dermatological disorder characterized by hyperpigmented and hyperkeratotic velvety skin lesions. It can be manifestation of systemic disease. OBJECTIVE: This study aims to evaluate the clinical laboratory predictive factors in treatment pseudo-acanthosis nigricans. PATIENTS AND METHODS: included 20 patients with from outpatient clinic. All cases were subjected fractional CO2 laser on right side neck glycolic acid peel 70% left neck. Each patient was followed up for three half months. RESULTS: There an overall improvement area index, severity, texture treated or Glycolic peel. CONCLUSION: no statistical significance when comparing effect peeling different age groups obese overweight cases.
